SMALL SPACE TRICKS

The requirement was to create a pep bedroom space for a young couple.
The concept chosen was minimal art deco, mostly whites with complimenting teal

The space was tiny but design tricks almost visually doubled the space. From opening the bathroom and wardrobe area to tucking in the storage in the wall, all helped in effective designing.

Planning of the space plays a major role in effective designing. The major drawback in existing site was lane like thin dressing and bathroom. Because it was for a newlywed couple, we got the opportunity to break a wall down and merge the two spaces creating a huge 10' x 10' bath cum walk-in area
The existing wardrobe area was merged with the existing bathroom space to get a huge, well-lit walkin wardrobe and shower. The planning also accounted for a couple seating bench to make dressing super comfortable

Yet another technique used was minimal color and full mirror on wall that visually increased the space.  Adding that extra detail in the ceiling complimenting the colors & forms used in the bedroom brought in that pop required for the young couple.

The ceiling has been created using flexi profiles and Hafele lights. Highlighting the subtle floor with this contemporary blue-grey rug from Jaipur rugs
